'He cut off my air supply': Former Hinder lead singer Austin Winkler accused of strangling ex girlfriend and threatening revenge porn
Austin Winkler has been hit with a restraining order from his ex girlfriend.
The former lead singer of Hinder, 36, has been accused of trying to kill Jennifer Vetkos and threatening to release revenge porn to her family.
'I thought I was going to die … he was trying to kill me,' she said of an incident in August that was revealed in court documents obtained by The Blast.

'He cut off my air supply with his arms under my rib cage … I started having an anxiety attack and I told him I could not breathe,' Jennifer reported.
'He held onto me for another 30 seconds after I said I could not breathe.'
Jennifer was granted a temporary restraining order against Austin, ordering the musician to stay 100 yards away from her, her son, and her pet.
She also detailed several instances during their relationship of what she described as 'stalking' and 'harassing'.

One episode had Austin 'threatening to send revenge porn to my entire family.'
The judge granted Jennifer's request and set a court hearing on the matter for November 20.
And back in August, his former band mates sued him for infringing on the band's trademark in pursuing his own solo career. .
According to the lawsuit, Austin is promoting his own performances and music by the 'unlawful use and exploitation of the Hinder trademark,'
Austin left the group back in 2013 and has released an EP as of this time.
